Corporate Training
Corporate Training Case Study: Edgetech Air Systems

A 7-month leadership development journey built on strategy, communication, and cross-functional thinking โ€” delivered by Go4Growth Consulting’s corporate training practice.

At Go4Growth Consulting, we believe leadership development is not an HR initiative โ€” it is a business strategy decision. When Edgetech Air Systems Pvt. Ltd. partnered with us to elevate their management team, the brief went beyond conventional soft-skills training. It called for a structured, strategy-led approach to building leaders who could think across functions, manage stakeholders with confidence, and drive execution in a competitive manufacturing environment. That brief became LEAD โ€” Learn, Evolve, Adapt, Deliver.

A Program Designed Around Business Outcomes, Not Just Training Modules

Over seven months, Go4Growth’s corporate training team worked closely with Edgetech’s leadership to design a curriculum that mirrored the real challenges mid-management faces in growing organisations. Rather than treating leadership development as a checklist of soft skills, the LEAD program was built around five interconnected capability areas, each chosen because it directly impacts business performance:

  • Cross-functional engagement formed the foundation of the program, helping managers move beyond departmental silos and start thinking about outcomes for the business as a whole โ€” a shift that is often the single biggest unlock for mid-level leaders.
  • Stakeholder management followed closely, equipping participants with the influence and negotiation skills needed to align priorities across teams without relying purely on hierarchy or authority.
  • Strategic thinking was introduced as a practical, everyday skill โ€” not a boardroom abstraction โ€” training leaders to move from reactive firefighting to structured, forward-looking decision-making.
  • Communication and executive presence were sharpened through real scenario-based practice, ensuring ideas could be framed, defended, and delivered with clarity at every level of the organisation.
  • Team management rounded out the program, helping participants translate all of the above into the day-to-day discipline of managing, motivating, and retaining high-performing teams.
Why the Format Mattered as Much as the Content

Leadership behaviour doesn’t change in a two-day workshop โ€” it changes through sustained reinforcement. That’s the thinking behind Go4Growth’s approach to long-format corporate training engagements: LEAD was designed as a 7-month journey precisely because habits, communication styles, and decision-making patterns need repetition, feedback, and real workplace application to truly evolve. This is consistent with how Go4Growth approaches every corporate training mandate โ€” not as a one-time event, but as a change management process grounded in business strategy.

Action Learning Project

To ensure the learning translated into real business impact, participants were divided into two action-learning groups midway through the program. Each group was tasked with identifying a genuine challenge within their own function, applying the frameworks from LEAD to design a solution, and implementing it with their teams over the following months. The program closed with both groups presenting their case studies โ€” not as classroom exercises, but as live accounts of strategy applied, stakeholders managed, and outcomes delivered within their own business. This is where LEAD moved from training to transformation: the leadership behaviours weren’t just discussed in the room, they were tested against real problems and real teams.

Leadership Buy-In as the Real Differentiator

Programs like LEAD only succeed when leadership at the very top believes in the process. We’re deeply grateful to Amit Goel, Managing Director, Edgetech Air Systems, for entrusting us with this engagement and for the openness with which his leadership team approached seven months of sustained learning. That commitment from the top is often the difference between training that gets attended and training that gets absorbed โ€” and it showed throughout this program.

We’d also like to acknowledge Maansi Gupta, co-facilitator on this engagement, whose insight and energy were instrumental in bringing the LEAD framework to life across every module.

What This Reflects About Go4Growth’s Broader Practice

The LEAD program is a representative example of how Go4Growth Consulting operates across all three of its service lines โ€” marketing consulting, sales consultancy, and corporate training โ€” with a single underlying philosophy: sustainable growth comes from strategic clarity, not activity. Whether we are helping a mid-size business build brand positioning, a sales team improve conversion, or a leadership team evolve its management capability, the approach is the same โ€” diagnose the real gap, design a structured intervention, and stay invested long enough to see the change take root.

With 460+ organisations consulted across 37+ industries and over 69,000 professionals trained, Go4Growth Consulting continues to work with businesses that are ready to move from short-term tactics to long-term strategic capability โ€” whether that capability lives in marketing, sales, or leadership.

Keynote Speech
Gagan Kapoor Addresses HR Leaders at Tech HR Pulse Mumbai 2026

At the recently concluded People Matters Tech HR Pulse in Mumbai, HR leaders from across industries gathered to explore one of the most pressing questions facing modern organizations: What remains uniquely human in an AI-driven world?

Representing upGrad Enterprise, our Marketing Consultant and Corporate Trainer, Gagan Kapoor led a thought-provoking session on โ€œEmotional Intelligence (EI) in the Age of AIโ€, challenging leaders to rethink decision-making, leadership, and responsibility in an era where intelligence is increasingly automated.

As part of our ongoing work in leadership and growth consulting, this session reflects the kind of conversations we believe are critical for the future of leadership.

You may explore more about the event, agenda, and speaker lineup here on the official website for the TechHR Conference Mumbai 2026. You may also see the post below by People Matters here on LinkedIn in this page link.

From Intelligence to Judgement: The Leadership Shift

The session emphasized a critical shift:

As AI continues to scale intelligence, leadership must evolve to scale responsibility.

Gagan highlighted that while AI can process data, patterns, and probabilities at scale, it still cannot fully interpret intent, context, emotional nuance, trust, or ethical judgement. These remain deeply human capabilities โ€” and increasingly, the differentiators of effective leadership.

โ€œAI can recommend decisions. But it cannot own consequences. That responsibility still lies with leaders.โ€

The New Role of HR Leaders

In a rapidly transforming workplace, HR leaders are no longer just custodians of talent. The session positioned them as:

  • Cultural architects shaping organizational behavior
  • Ethical anchors guiding AI-driven decisions
  • Risk managers balancing efficiency with human impact

A key insight that resonated strongly with participants was:

โ€œEthics cannot be automated. Someone must stand for them.โ€

The EI vs AI Dilemma in Decision-Making

Through a simulated โ€œTriage Dilemmaโ€ exercise, participants were put into real-world decision scenarios โ€” choosing between competing priorities such as:

  • Performance vs. burnout
  • Efficiency vs. inclusion
  • Data vs. dignity
  • Speed vs. empathy

The exercise surfaced an important realization:

AI can inform decisions, but it is emotional intelligence that resolves dilemmas.

Leaders reflected on the tension between algorithmic recommendations and human instinct โ€” and the need to consciously apply judgement rather than blindly follow data.

Power Skills: The New Competitive Advantage

Drawing from global insights shared during the session, Kapoor reinforced that โ€œpower skillsโ€ โ€” emotional intelligence, self-regulation, empathy, and ethical courage โ€” are no longer soft skills, but strategic capabilities.

With organizations witnessing tangible business impact from investing in these capabilities, the conversation moved beyond theory to business relevance.

The Core Message: AI Creates Capability, EI Builds Credibility

The session concluded with a powerful leadership principle:

Use AI for options. Use EI for ownership.

While AI accelerates outcomes, emotional intelligence creates legitimacy, trust, and long-term credibility.

For HR leaders, this means stepping into a larger role โ€” not just enabling AI adoption, but ensuring that human judgment, fairness, and empathy remain central to organizational decisions.

A Timely Conversation for the Future of Work

As organizations continue to integrate AI across functions, the discussion served as a timely reminder that technology alone cannot define the future of work โ€” leadership will.

And that leadership, more than ever before, will be measured not just by how fast decisions are made, but how human they remain.

Trainings
Strategic Consulting Session for Senior Leaders at AstraZeneca

We are pleased to share that Gagan recently conducted a two-day Strategic Consulting for Leadership Impact program for senior leaders at AstraZeneca, organized by UpGrad Enterprise.

This engagement brought together experienced leaders who operate in high-accountability roles โ€” where business decisions cut across functions, carry regulatory implications, and directly influence performance outcomes. The program was designed to sharpen how senior leaders think, engage, and communicate when the stakes are high.

The Context

Senior leadership today is far more demanding than it was even a few years ago.

AI-led transformation, tighter compliance environments, global collaboration, and compressed decision timelines have changed the nature of executive conversations. Leaders are expected not only to deliver results, but to frame issues clearly, align diverse stakeholders, and defend decisions with maturity and clarity.

In such an environment, structured thinking and disciplined communication are not optional โ€” they are strategic requirements.

The Focus of the Program

Over two days, the conversations centered on strengthening three essential capabilities:

  • Strategic problem framing โ€“ defining the right question before moving to solutions
  • Stakeholder alignment โ€“ managing influence across functions with clarity and composure
  • Executive presence in communication โ€“ presenting recommendations with structure, credibility, and confidence

The discussions were grounded in real business situations. Participants examined how they approach complex conversations, how ownership is exercised at the senior level, and how communication style can either build trust or create friction.

The emphasis remained practical โ€” enabling leaders to walk away with sharper judgment and clearer action.

Why This Matters for the Future

Organizations increasingly depend on leaders who can move beyond operational execution and contribute to enterprise-level thinking.

When senior leaders improve how they structure decisions, engage stakeholders, and communicate intent, the ripple effect is significant โ€” faster alignment, stronger trust, and better quality decisions.

Through engagements like this, Gagan Kapoor continues to work with global organizations to strengthen leadership capability at the intersection of strategy, influence, and execution.
